This summer, Technology Playground will launch its Youth News Network.

The program will be the home to 60 teenage youth to teach them about developing positive news while raising the visibility of the work of non profit organizations.  Youth will learn about the social issues that plaque them as youth.  They will develop mini-documentaries on organizations that address these issues through photography and video medias.

Partners in this program are DC Department of Employment Service, DC Deptartment of Human Services, Childrens Youth and Investment Trust Corporation and Columbia Heights/Shaw Family Support Collaborative.
