Technology Playground is hitting the campaign trails...The Combined Federal Campaign.  "Going into our third year, we are excited because now that we have been involved, we have a good sense of what it takes to get the word out to the federal employees about the work that we are doing," says Lonell Johnson, Founder/Director.  Technology Playground got involved in the campaign three years ago when they joined the "Institute For Black Charities", a federation dedicated to serving the black community by supporting the building and sustaining critical programs and services of domestic and international organizations.  Through the federation, the organization attends approximately 10 charity fairs sponsored by different federal agencies in Washington, DC, MD and Virginia.  Lonell says, "this support is so important because it says that government and military personnel really respect the work that we do as a small grassroot organization or a larger affiliate."  Your dollars can make a world of a difference.  Check out our schedule below.  If you know any employees that works for the federal governement or military facility, tell them to designate #82079 on their charity form.  Click here to see how your donation can help.
